The Toronto Bicycling Network (TBN) is proud to provide the marshals that support Bike for Brain Health. We take this role very seriously and bring our experienced mambers to bear supporting riders at all levels of experience deal with the inevitable mechanical issues that can come up randomly on such a ride.
At the same time, we have formed this team to allow our members who want to raise money in support of Baycrest by participating in the 2026 Mattamy Homes Bike For Brain Health do so as part of a club team.
Our team co-captains for 2026, Kathy and Allan have experience with family members who lived out their later years with brain health issues - and Baycrest played a major role in supporting them.
More than 770,000 Canadians are currently living with dementia — a number projected to soar to nearly one million by 2030 as Canada’s population ages and demographics shift, without intervention
That’s why we’re not just riding — we’re cycling toward change.
Your support helps raise critical funds for Baycrest, a global leader in research, care, education, and innovation in the field of brain health and aging.
When you fundraise for your ride, you’re not only making a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected today — you’re helping create a future free from dementia for generations to come.
If you'd like to get involved with our team in any way - please reach out to our co-captains.
