Lucky number 4!!
On June 1st 2025, I will once again be participating in 'Bike for Brain Health' to fundraise for a cause that is near and dear to my heart, as my mom was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2015, succumbing to this terrible illness in early March 2025. My mom spent a lot of time fundraising for several initiatives in my childhood, so it only makes sense to continue this tradition of mixing two of her greatest joys - fundraising and fitness.
Funds raised for the Bike for Brain Health are used to provide crucial funding for breakthrough research into cognition, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and aging brain health; medical programs and services for older adults living in our community; and education that supports healthy aging and healthcare solutions for a growing aging population.
The world has changed so much in the last few years, and now, more than ever before, we are seeing how vulnerable our older population is. Please consider supporting me in my journey to raise funds for this incredible organization as I pedal my way to aid in the research and education for future families, like my own.
Last year we raised $6800, can we top that?!
