Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s in support of Baycrest
Alzheimer's disease is a devastating condition that impacts individuals and their families. For me, this fight is personal - my grandmother Luella suffered from this disease, and witnessing her cognitive decline was both heartbreaking and painful.
I am participating once again in the Baycrest Pro-Am to raise funds that support care and research into Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Baycrest is one of the world’s top neurocognitive science centres in research on memory and aging, and the work they are doing on innovative treatments and care solutions offers hope that our families, in the future, may not have to endure these challenges.
