For 19 remarkable years, I’ve been an enthusiastic participant in the Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s, a cause that lies close to my heart. From my forties to my vibrant 70 years young, I’ve laced up my skates, joining forces with NHL Alumni and fellow hockey enthusiasts in a spirited 2-day tournament held right here in Toronto.
Why do I do it? Because this event is more than just a game—it’s a powerful force for Alzheimer’s research and care. The funds we raise directly impact the groundbreaking work at Baycrest Foundation, a global leader in neurocognitive science research focused on memory and aging.
