Welcome to Tony's Personal Page!
The Pro-Am for Alzheimer's is the largest hockey charity event in North America. This unique 2-day tournament in Toronto features NHL Alumni and hockey enthusiasts skating in support of Alzheimer’s research and care.
I am proud to be part of a team once again which has supported this great cause for the past 17 years during which time our team has raised well in excess of $ 1.3 million. I am especially proud that our family business Shower Door of Canada will once again be sponsoring a team in the tournament.
The fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia goes on. We all know a friend or family member who has or is battling this terrible illness. Each year I honour the memory of dear family friends Libby & Shari who spent the last years of their lives graciously battling dementia. We also honour the life of our good family friend Jack who valiantly fights the ravages of Alzheimer's each day. We play and pray for all of those who suffer the affects of dementia and related diseases.
Please contribute to this important event with a donation! It is not easy or fun asking for donations but the work that Baycrest does for Alzheimer Research and Care makes the effort very worthwhile.
