Help Me Honour My Grandfather & Fight Alzheimer's
It’s that time of year again, and I’m lacing up my skates with a heart full of determination and a mission that means everything to me.
Alzheimer’s isn’t just a disease—it’s a relentless thief, stealing memories, identities, and the people we love. It took my grandfather 33 years ago, but he’s still with me every time I step onto the ice. His picture is on the back of my goalie helmet, a constant reminder that he’s watching over me, pushing me to fight harder.
That’s why I’m back for another year at the Pro-Am Hockey Tournament, an event that’s more than just a game—it’s a battle against Alzheimer’s, funding crucial research and care.
Why This Matters
More than half a million Canadians are currently living with Alzheimer’s. This disease doesn’t just affect those diagnosed—it devastates families, caregivers, and communities. But together, we can push back.
With every dollar raised, we move closer to a future where Alzheimer’s is no longer a heartbreaking reality. Your support fuels groundbreaking research, provides vital care for those affected, and gives hope to families who refuse to give up.
Join Me in This Fight
I know times are tough, but even the smallest donation makes a real impact. Whether you give a little or a lot, you’re helping to create a future where no family has to endure the pain of losing a loved one to Alzheimer’s.
Donate today and be part of something bigger than the game.
Check out my helmet below—he’s always got my back. Let’s show him we’ve got his.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for standing with me in this fight. Let’s make this year a game-changer.
