So, I'm back on the ice for the Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s in support of Baycrest skating (and likely limping) through a two-day tournament with NHL Alumni — all to raise critical funds for Alzheimer’s and dementia research and care.
This cause hits close to home. Like many of you, I’ve seen firsthand the devastating toll these diseases take on individuals and their families (at all stages). In fact, every 4 seconds, someone around the world is diagnosed with dementia. In Canada, more than 600,000 people are currently living with Alzheimer's or a related condition — and that number is only rising.
The funds raised through this event go directly to Baycrest, one of the world’s leading institutions in brain health and aging. Your donation will help power groundbreaking research, compassionate care, and real hope for families facing one of life’s hardest challenges.
Whether it’s $10 or $100, every bit counts. Thank you so much for your support — and for being part of this important fight.
Let’s do this!
