On May 31 2026, I will once again be riding in the Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health in support of Baycrest, a global leader in Alzheimer’s and brain health research.
Last year, with the support of many generous friends, family members, and colleagues, I raised $1,310 toward this important cause. I am very grateful for that support and proud to be participating again this year with a personal fundraising goal of $1,500.
There are currently more than 500,000 people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related forms of dementia in Canada, and that number is expected to grow to approximately 1.4 million by 2031. Baycrest’s work helps preserve and extend the cognitive and emotional well being of older adults. Support from donors is essential, as government funding represents only part of what is needed to continue their efforts in research, innovation, education and care.
If you are open to supporting my ride this year, I would be truly appreciative. Every contribution helps advance important work that supports patients and families, and donations of $10 or more automatically receive a tax receipt.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and for considering supporting this cause. Your encouragement and generosity make a real difference, and I will continue to share updates as the ride approaches.
With appreciation,
Arman
