Hi Friends and Family,
I’m raising money in support of Baycrest by participating in the Mattamy Homes Bike For Brain Health in Toronto, Canada.
Many of you know that my father had dementia for several years and my mother was continuously, and tirelessly at his side throughout this journey. We do not yet know how to cure dementia and my father ultimately succumbed to the disease a few years back. We can make a difference.
My company has a corporate team that I am now on, and I will travel to Toronto and ride the 60K distance to honor my father, and all those globally who have been impacted by this terrible disease.
In Canada alone, more than 770,000 Canadians are currently living with dementia — a number projected to soar to nearly one million by 2030 as Canada’s population ages and demographics shift, without intervention.
That’s why we’re not just riding — we’re cycling toward change.
Your support helps raise critical funds for Baycrest, a global leader in research, care, education, and innovation in the field of brain health and aging.
Please join me in this fight, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected today - with the ultimate goal of someday living in a world free from dementia.
