Countdown to 2025 Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health

Donate Now

It was a NO BRAINER to ride on June 1st once my longtime friend, Andrea Joyce, was diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia - caused by Alzheimer's Disease.  Andrea's team, "AJ's Brainy Bunch" will be riding on the DVP for "Bike for Brain Health" benefiting BAYCREST on June 1st.

BAYCREST is close to my heart!  Family members had cognitive assessments, resided in their facility, and I actually had speech therapy when I was young. I couldn't pronounce my "R's", the speech therapy department corrected my impediment.

BAYCREST is a global leader in innovation, care, education and research to treat Alzheimer's and other dementias globally.

More than 770,000 Canadians are living with dementia. By 2031, that number is projected to climb to over a million Canadians living with dementia without intervention...that's very scary!

Here's the link to make a donation through my cycling efforts and making a difference in this critical work - https://support.baycrestfoundation.org/site/TR/Events/General?px=1049499&pg=personal&fr_id=1120

I can't thank you enough!

Karen
