I’m proud to be riding in support of Baycrest by participating in the Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health on May 31, 2026.
Cycling has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From early rides around Oakville's lush trails and picturesque lake to longer journeys through the Muskoka backroads and the landscapes of Quebec, biking has always been my way to stay active, clear my head, and reconnect with what matters. This year, I’m putting that passion toward a cause that’s deeply important.
Today, more than 770,000 Canadians are living with dementia, and without meaningful intervention, that number is expected to grow by nearly 30% by 2030, approaching one million people. Dementia doesn’t just affect individuals, it impacts families, caregivers, and entire communities. That’s why this ride is about more than kilometres logged; it’s about riding toward change.
By supporting my ride, you’re helping fund Baycrest’s world‑leading work in dementia research, prevention, care, and brain health innovation. Your contribution supports breakthroughs that improve quality of life today and bring us closer to a future where dementia no longer steals memories from the people we love.
If you’re able, I’d be grateful for your support. Donating is simple, safe, and secure, and tax receipts are automatically issued by email for donations of $10 or more.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping me ride toward a healthier future for generations to come.
