Riding for Memories: Fighting Dementia One Kilometer at a Time

Donate Now

I’m taking on the 2025 Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health in support of Baycrest, and this ride is deeply personal for me. Both of my grandmothers suffered from dementia, and I saw firsthand how it slowly takes away memories, independence, and so much of what makes a person who they are. It’s heartbreaking, not just for those living with it, but for the families who love them.

Right now, more than 770,000 Canadians are living with dementia, and without action, that number will climb past a million in just a few years. But there is hope. Baycrest is doing incredible work in dementia research, care, and education, and by supporting them, we can help change the future.

Every dollar raised brings us closer to breakthroughs in prevention and treatment. If you can, please consider donating. Together, we can make a real difference. ‍
