I’m raising money in support of Baycrest by participating in the 2026 Mattamy Homes Bike For Brain Health.
The work Baycrest is doing for dementia and Alzheimer's research stays close to my heart because two of my grandparents have lived with dementia. Both my Oma and Opa lived with dementia for many years and I want to contribute to a future that improves brain health for everyone. Long before my Opa was diagnosed with dementia, he was a family physician and would visit his patients at Baycrest hospital. It makes me happy to support a local hospital that has been connected to my family for many years.
More than 770,000 Canadians are living with dementia. By 2031, that number is projected to climb to over a million Canadians living with dementia without intervention.By making a donation, you are helping to make a difference the critical work Baycrest is leading in dementia research, innovation, care and education globally.
Thank you for reading this message and donating. I appreciate that so much!Wishing you all the best,Peri
