Alzheimer's (a type of dementia) runs in my family. Since we're friends, you know that over the past few years, my physical activities have been around the basis of maintaining my brain as healthy as possible for as long as possible. Plus, a family member was a patient at both the Toronto Western Hospital and Sunnybrook HealthSciences Centre! Any donation goes to a great cause!
After a few years of wishing to do this, this is the year! I'll be cycling 75km on the DVP and raising money in support of Baycrest by participating in the 2025 Mattamy Homes Bike For Brain Health.
More than 770,000 Canadians are living with dementia. By 2031, that number is projected to climb to over a million Canadians living with dementia without intervention.
By making a donation, of any amount, you are helping to make a difference the critical work Baycrest is leading in dementia research, innovation, care and education globally. I can't thank you enough for any financial or personal support you can offer. Your friendship is valuable to me!
Thank you, Jessica
