As many of you know, I love cycling—whether indoors or outdoors. This year, I’ve decided to combine that passion with something else I love: my grandma.
As some of you may not know, my grandma is living with Alzheimer's disease. Each day, she navigates the challenges of dementia, sometimes not knowing where she is or who we are, needing family, and extra care to support her. But despite it all, she is always happy. That happiness has been a gift to our family. It's helped guide my mom with strength and positivity, and it's shaped how I approach life too. She reminds me that even at the end of a difficult day, it's still possible to smile, laugh, and find joy.
In her honour, and those who help care for her, I'm raising funds for Baycrest by participating in this year's Bike for Brain Health. Baycrest is a global leader in research, care, education, and innovation in brain health and aging. Every donation supports critical work that improves the lives of people living with dementia today, while helping move us toward a future without it.
This cause is deeply personal to me. Your support doesn’t just make an impact on my grandma—it helps countless individuals and families facing similar journeys.
Thank you so much for your support!
