I’ll be riding in the Mattamy Homes Bike For Brain Health in honour of my grandpa, who passed away while battling dementia.

Watching someone you love slowly lose pieces of themselves is something that stays with you forever. Dementia affects not only the person living with it, but their entire family as well. That’s why this ride means so much to me.

I’m raising money to support Baycrest, a world leader in brain health, dementia research, care, and innovation. Every donation helps support research, treatment, and the hope of a future where fewer families have to experience the effects of dementia.

More than 770,000 Canadians are currently living with dementia, and that number continues to grow. I’m riding to help make a difference, for my grandpa, for families going through this now, and for future generations.
