The Spokespeople are a group of Toronto friends, which include Mel and Ellen Little, Andrew and Judy Kent, David and Cheryl Blinick, Larry and Julie Schwartz, Allan and Judy Borodin, Susan Leston and Harry Hochman, Maarten Heilbron and Kim Worobec, Bonny and Molyn Leszcz, Karen Garmaise and Maurice Moss amongst others that have been cycling in and around Toronto for many years. 

Twenty three years ago, they decided to use one of their fall rides to raise funds for a worthwhile charity or cause. To date over $170,000 has been raised by this group of friends. Each year, the group chooses to fund raise for a worthwhile registered charity or cause.

Over the years we have cycled for organizations that include The Canadian Cancer Society, CAMH, Food Banks Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Reena, to mention just a few. This year The Spokespeople are hopping in the saddle for the Kimel Family for Brain Health and Wellness at Baycrest. Led by Dr. Howard Chertkow, MD, Co-Scientific Director, and Dr. Nicole Anderson, PhD, Co-Scientific Director, the Kimel Family Centre is a research-based community centre focused on reducing dementia risk and maintaining healthy brain aging.
