It’s that time of year again and I humbly ask that you please support my participation in the Pro-Am hockey tournament for Alzheimer's in support of Baycrest; the largest hockey charity event in North America. This unique 2-day tournament in Toronto features NHL Alumni and hockey enthusiasts skating in support of Alzheimer’s research and care.
This cause hits close to home as Baycrest has provided first-hand care to my family over the years; as a caregiver, employer and community resource. As the grandson within a family affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia, I feel honoured to be able to raise money for this effort each year - through playing the sport that I love.
As always, I am raising money in honour of my late grandparents and my late Uncle Jack.
